Introducing Wildflowers

Spring is nearly upon us and we are excited to announce a brand new collection that has been added to the MacKenzie-Childs collection. Wildflowers has officially been launched today and we are officially in love with the fresh, floral hues of this pattern. In the wildflowers collection, you will find enamelware, ceramic, and galvanised products. Wildflowers has already proved itself to be a versatile and popular pattern!

But what is the story behind Wildflowers? Wildflowers by MacKenzie-Childs is inspired by the fresh flowers pressed between old pages of a book that has been loved over generations. Wildflowers is sentimental, playful and reminiscent of an English cottage garden at the height of Summer and is inspired by vintage wallpapers, intimate spaces and your granny’s favourite China patterns. The fresh floral blooms of Wildflowers are perfect for outdoor parties that go on late into the summer evenings. Some MacKenzie-Childs fans may notice some similarities between Wildflowers and another collection, Buttercup. Buttercup was produced between 2004 – 2007. Wildflowers has a more muted and calm design compared to Buttercup as it has a larger range of colours and flowers featured.

The ceramic pieces from the Wildflowers collections include porcelain dinner plates, salad plates, mugs, a serving bowl, and a platter. Additional ceramic designs include canisters, a salt and pepper set, a trinket tray, two berry baskets, and a juicer. These products are perfect for adding a unique twist to your MacKenzie-Childs collection. Why not create a fun and fresh tablescape with Wildflowers Ceramic Dinner plates and Courtly Check Charger plates. Adding height, colour and different textures with MacKenzie-Childs creates a fresh, fun and unique look that will definitely wow your guests. A fun feature of the ceramic pieces is the feature of coloured stripes. These stripes are exclusive to ceramic products and we think they add a refreshing twist compared to the spots.

It wouldn’t be a new collection of MacKenzie-Childs without new enamelware products. We are excited to introduce a range of enamelware that will sit perfectly in your kitchen alongside your favourite MacKenzie-Childs collections. The enamelware is slightly different compared to the ceramic pieces as the enamelware features spots not stripes. The enamel collection includes: a high-tea set, enamel canisters in small, medium and large, a large colander, a medium and large pitcher, a 2 qt. tea kettle, a spoon rest and a cake carrier. The Wildflowers enamelware works beautifully with Courtly Check, Sterling Check and Parchment Check to create a fun and unique collection. Here at MacKenzie-Childs UK, we love creating unique collections with the enamelware products. We think it is fun to mix and match colours and textures to create a collection that is unique to your home and tastes. Why not refresh any space or prepare your home for spring with Wildflowers?

Wildflowers doesn’t stop at the table and kitchen! We are excited to announce a range of Wildflowers home décor, perfect for Spring! From Clocks to Garlands, there is something for every home. We have also launched a range of wall décor, the Swallowtails are sure to make your heart skip a tweet. Available in the galvanised collection are: A set of 3 Herb Pots, A set of 3 Flower Buckets and a set of 2 Serving Trays. These are perfect for bringing MacKenzie-Childs into an outdoor space.
